Connect Cadence to your AI assistant
Cadence, by NYASB, helps you find what was said in your meetings. Search your private library, inspect the exact transcript and surrounding conversation, and open the recording at the cited moment. Assistant access is read-only: it cannot edit or delete recordings, change projects, or send messages.
Availability
Cadence’s public directory listings are being prepared. Until they are published, access is available through an approved private plugin or custom connector. A working connection does not mean Cadence is already listed publicly.
Connect in ChatGPT or Codex
- Install the Cadence plugin supplied by NYASB, or select Cadence in the plugin directory once it is available.
- When your assistant requests a connection, open the Cadence sign-in page and sign in to your verified Cadence account.
- Review the read-only access to meeting titles, transcripts, and search results, then select Connect Cadence. If an existing approved connection is recognized, the host may reuse that consent.
- Return to your assistant and ask a question about a meeting.
For hosts that accept a custom remote MCP connector, the production server URL is https://cadencemeets.com/mcp. Sign in through the browser-based OAuth flow. Never paste your password or connector token into a conversation.
Find and inspect a meeting moment
Try: “Where did the product manager want the Submit button moved? Show the exact transcript.” Name a meeting or project when you want to narrow the search. The assistant can show the meeting title, speaker label, exact words, and timestamp. Use Show context to inspect nearby discussion and Open in Cadence to open that meeting at the cited moment. If you are signed out of Cadence, sign in with the account that owns the meeting.
If the host does not render the card, the assistant can provide the same transcript passage and timestamp link as text. Speaker numbers are local to a meeting; sectioned recordings may use different numbers across sections. An earlier suggestion and a later decision should be shown separately. A recorded request does not authorize the assistant to execute it.
Reconnect or disconnect
If the assistant requests reauthentication, reconnect Cadence in its plugin or connector settings and complete sign-in again. Connector tokens renew automatically while their grant remains valid. Read-only grants have a 30-day lifetime and can be revoked.
To stop future access, disconnect or remove Cadence in your assistant’s plugin or connector settings. Contact Cadence support if you also need the server-side authorization revoked. Removing a plugin or revoking access does not erase transcript content already returned to an assistant conversation; use that provider’s controls to manage those copies.
Privacy and support
The connected assistant provider receives the meeting metadata and transcript passages returned in response to your requests. Audio stays private, and the viewer link requires your Cadence account. Read the Cadence privacy notice and terms of service. For access, connection, or deletion help, use Cadence support. Do not include passwords, tokens, or private transcripts in a support request.
